Return Policy

The Compressor Warehouse ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 14444 Stuebner Airline Rd, Houston, Texas 77069, maintains the following return policy for all automotive air-conditioning parts and components ("Products") purchased through our website or authorized sales channels. This Return Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

General Returns

You may return most new, unopened, and uninstalled items within 30 days of delivery. All returns require prior authorization. Contact our Customer Service team to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping anything back. Unauthorized returns — Products shipped without a valid RMA number — will be refused and returned to sender. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility on all returns.

How to Initiate a Return

Step 1 — Contact Us First. Email info@thecompressorwarehouse.com or call 281-586-7374 within the applicable return window to request an RMA number. Do not ship any product without authorization.

Step 2 — Provide Information. Have your order number, product number(s) being returned, reason for return, and photos of the product and packaging if the item is damaged or defective.

Step 3 — Package & Ship. Package the product securely in its original packaging (if available). Include a copy of your original order. Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the shipping box — do not write on or affix labels to the product packaging itself. Ship to: 14444 Stuebner Airline Rd, Houston, TX 77069.

Step 4 — Inspection & Resolution. Upon receipt and inspection, we will process your refund or ship a replacement. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a general return (non-warranty), the following must be met:

  • Product must be in its original, uninstalled, and unused condition
  • All original components, hardware, mounting brackets, and documentation must be included
  • Product must not show signs of physical damage, modification, disassembly, or attempted repair
  • Electrical components (control valves, sensors, clutch coils) must not have been connected to a power source
  • Refrigerant oils, refrigerants, and chemical products are non-returnable once the seal has been broken

Warranty Returns

If your product fails during the applicable warranty period, the return is processed as a warranty claim. Warranty claims follow the same RMA process above, but with additional requirements depending on the product type.

Warranty coverage — including tier levels, qualifying parts, commercial vehicle limitations, and exclusions — is detailed in our Warranty Policy. Key points for warranty returns:

  • Replacement is shipped upon inspection of the defective product
  • Replacement may be a remanufactured unit
  • Labor costs, diagnostic fees, and installation/removal expenses are not covered under any warranty claim for parts-only sales
  • The defective product must be returned for inspection before a replacement is issued
  • Products showing evidence of improper installation, contamination, incorrect refrigerant/oil, or physical damage are not covered

Service & Labor Returns

For products installed by The Compressor Warehouse, labor is covered for 1 year (personal vehicles) or 6 months (commercial vehicles). After the labor warranty expires, parts remain covered under their applicable parts warranty, but the customer is responsible for all return labor costs (diagnosis, removal, reinstallation). Limitation of Liability

THE COMPRESSOR WAREHOUSE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO ANY RETURN, REFUND, OR EXCHANGE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LABOR COSTS, VEHICLE DOWNTIME, RENTAL EXPENSES, TOWING CHARGES, OR LOST BUSINESS REVENUE. LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE COST OF THE ORIGINAL PART.

This Return Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental/consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you. This policy is subject to change without notice.
